Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, to invite you to Abu Dhabi, UAE, to participate in the international conference, Microbiome: Human, Plant, and Environmental Health - Applications and Challenges (UAE Microbiome 2023). The conference will take place on November 21-22, 2023, at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Microorganisms such as Bacteria, Archaea, Eukarya, and viruses, live in communities called microbiomes and often interact with their surroundings. Changes in microbiome structures can have direct and indirect impacts on human, animal, plant, and environmental health, thus occupying a vital position in the One-Health framework. Therefore, understanding the role of the microbiome in the One-Health framework is an emerging research domain. Advances in Next-Generation Sequencing technologies and computational approaches have paved the way to explore the microbiome and its applications in diverse fields, including diseases, biomedicine, crop production, environmental cleanup, and ecological interactions.

The microbiome research community is growing in the Middle East, especially in the UAE. Therefore, it is appealing and necessary to bring like-minded researchers together to facilitate the exchange of innovative ideas and provide a platform to establish collaborative connections. The proposed UAE Microbiome 2023 conference will be one of the first microbiome-themed meetings ever hosted in the Middle East region. The conference will focus on the challenges and hurdles that researchers working in the microbiome field must recognize and navigate to successfully utilize the microbiome's potential for humanity. Additionally, the meeting will showcase groundbreaking research advancements carried out by leading scientists around the globe. Since a wide range of research studies implicate microbiome dysfunction in human, plant, and environmental health, the conference will have three sessions highlighting recent developments in these areas. Through this conference, we aim to integrate local and international researchers with common scientific objectives across a broad cross-section of sub-disciplines within the field of the microbiome.

We aim to bring together a group of leading academic scientists, researchers, and research scholars, both local and international, working in the field of the microbiome, with a major focus on the arid environment. The overarching goal of the proposed conference, UAE Microbiome 2023, is to gather a multidisciplinary microbiome research community to enhance the capacity building and skill development of researchers in the UAE.

We cordially invite you to participate in this important international conference. Kindly register now and take advantage of the early bird registration rates.

We look forward to welcoming you to Abu Dhabi (UAE) for the UAE Microbiome 2023 conference.

Sincerely,

Conference Organizers
